The Story
A blank canvas, on purpose.
Pure Canvas is the unflavored companion to Signature Citrus. It leaves out orange juice so you can choose the fruit, ginger or other alcohol-free mixer for your drink.
We make it with water-extracted noble kava root and a few simple ingredients, listed above. Unflavored does not mean tasteless: the root still brings an earthy, peppery flavor to the glass.

The Pure Canvas was built for the mixer crowd. Most people use it as the base of a cocktail, but it works straight too.
01 · The Mixer
With juice or syrup
One shot over ice, top with pineapple, mango, or whatever's in the fridge. A splash of lime works too. The mixer adds its own flavor, with the kava's earthy taste still present.
02 · The Cocktail
Build your own
Shake with ginger syrup, lime, and a pinch of salt for a kavatini. Or stir into coconut water with a squeeze of citrus. Measure the kava separately and use alcohol-free mixers.
03 · The Shot
Straight, 44ml
Shake the bottle, measure a chilled 1.5 oz pour and serve it straight. Its earthy, peppery flavor is distinct from a strained traditional kava drink. Have water or citrus juice alongside it if you prefer.

Same noble kava root, same 300mg kavalactones per shot. The Signature is infused with orange, the Pure Canvas has no added flavor. If you want a bottle that tastes good straight, go Signature. If you want to mix, go Canvas.
Earthy, plant-forward, almost neutral. It's the actual character of noble kava root without anything covering it. If you've had traditional kava tea, it's recognizable. If you haven't, it's a flavor that makes more sense once you mix it with something.
Pineapple juice is the classic. Coconut water with lime is the lowest-effort move. Ginger syrup, lime, and a pinch of salt makes a kavatini. Most fruit juices work, and citrus tends to soften the finish more than anything else.
One 44ml shot is a serving, with 300mg of kavalactones, and most people find one is plenty. Follow the serving on the label. If you have a second, wait at least an hour, and stop at two in a night.
The 750ml bottle holds about 17 shots. If you have one most evenings, that's roughly two weeks. Once opened, refrigerate and finish within 30 days for the best flavor.
