Every batch we sell is tested. Here are the certificates of analysis so you can see exactly what's in the bottle.

Consistent with Noble Kava

The kavalactone breakdown in our COA shows a kavain-dominant profile - the signature of noble kava chemistry and the smoother, more balanced experience associated with noble cultivars.

What the Numbers Mean

Our kava is aqueous extracted. It is made with water, with no solvents used anywhere in the process. We still run a full residual solvent panel on every batch, because badly extracted kava has caused real problems in the past, and we would rather hand you the document than ask you to take our word for it.

On this panel, ethanol and methanol were the only compounds detected above the lab's reporting limit, and both come from the orange, not the kava. Citrus fruit naturally contains trace amounts of each. Everything else came back clean. Here's what those trace amounts actually look like.

~940 shots
to equal one standard alcoholic drink
Each 44 mL shot contains just 0.0149g of ethanol. A standard drink has about 14g, so the trace amount here is virtually nonexistent.
~58 shots
per day to reach the EPA minimum chronic exposure threshold likely to cause harm
Each shot contains 2.76mg of methanol. The EPA's long-term daily reference for a 176 lb adult is well above anything you'd realistically consume.

All other residual solvents were below the lab's reporting limits. The trace amounts detected here are well outside the range of practical concern at normal use levels.

Not sure what you're looking at above?

We wrote a plain-English guide to reading a kava certificate of analysis: what each panel means, how the chemotype tells you what a batch will feel like, and why "third-party lab tested" on a label is worth nothing without the document behind it.
